Join London Plus and the GLA for a briefing on recovery priorities for civil society.

As London starts its recovery from the pandemic, we all have a once in a lifetime opportunity to reimagine our city. We cannot go back to business as usual.

The London Recovery Board, a group of London’s leaders from business, the community and education sectors and essential services are keen for all Londoners to help shape the future of the capital.

We have engaged Londoners and partners on the aims for recovery and as a result the board identified eight missions and look forward to hearing how Londoners feel we should address these together.

The briefing session will be an opportunity to hear from the GLA on the current outline of the mission, find out about the other missions being developed and how they relate to Civil Society. There will also be an opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

The session is being held on Monday 17 August at 10am and Thursday 20 August at 11am, please click the links below to sign up for the one that is most convenient for you:

Monday 17 August – 10am

Thursday 20 August – 11am

After the briefing session, there will be an opportunity to feedback your views either by signing up for a phone call with a GLA officer or emailing in your thoughts to civilsociety@london.gov.uk, to ensure you have your say in how the recovery missions should develop.

There are also other ways Londoner’s can take part in shaping the Mission. Have your say on the GLA’s Talk London discussion boards or host your own Community Conversation.

If you need support in hosting a community conversation, you can apply for an access grant of up to £500; read the guidance document and apply here before 20 August.
