London Fund for Racialised Communities
The BME Health Forum will be offering a second funding round for organisations with incomes under £100,000 who want to help communities in London experiencing racial inequality. Register your interest via their mailing list.

The London Conference
Aimed at senior business, third-sector and local government leaders, this yearly conference is developed to address pressing issues facing London. It includes keynote speeches, panel discussions, interviews and presentations. The next London Conference will take place in November 2021.

London Councils Grants Programme
London Councils have opened their 2022-2026 pan-London grants programme for proposals. The key priorities for the programme are combatting homelessness and tackling domestic and sexual abuse.
Deadline: 10th September.
Walking and Cycling Grants in London
Grants of up to £10,000 over three years are available to community groups, charities and social enterprises to deliver walking and cycling projects from Transport for London.
Deadline: 10th September.
Grow Back Greener Fund
Grants between £10,000 – £75,000 are available to community projects across the capital that will improve access to green space and help us adapt to climate change.
Deadline: 13th September.
The Walkers and Comic Relief Fund
The Smiles Fund by Walkers and Comic Relief seeks proposals for using arts and comedy to challenge stigma and provide community-based support for those with poor mental wellbeing. This includes people facing: discrimination, disadvantage, prolonged uncertainty, unemployment, emerging mental wellbeing challenges, loss and isolation.
Deadline: 15th September.
The Kings Fund – GSK Awards
The 2022 GSK Impact Awards are open to charities working in a health-related field in the UK, with a total annual income of £120,000 – £3 million. Up to ten winners can receive £40,000 with the overall winner receiving an additional £10,000.
Deadline: 20th September.
Funding for Organisations supporting disadvantaged young people
The Tweed Family Charitable Foundation has grants of up to £10,000 for three years for smaller charity organisations supporting community/educational projects to inspire socially disadvantaged young people under 25 to achieve their full potential.
Deadline: 30th September.
The Baring Foundation: Strengthening Civil Society programme
Grants of up to £50,000 over 18 months are available for work that engages with all aspects of the criminal justice system: policing, courts (including the Crown Prosecution Service), prisons, and the probation service. They will consider applications that seek to address discrimination and disadvantage arising as a result of contact with the criminal justice system.
Deadline for 2nd stage: 21st September.
Aviva Community Fund
Funding is available for fresh ideas looking to secure up to £50,000 for one of these 3 key areas: ‘Building back better’, ‘Climate champions’, and ‘Financial empowerment’.
Deadline: 5th October.
Sport Unites Fund
Sport Unites is the Mayor of London’s community sports programme. Grants of up to £50,000 are available for community sports projects taking place between summer 2021 and June 2022 across two grant streams.
Deadline: 12th November.

Active Cyber Defence Programme
The National Cyber Security Centre provides free cybersecurity tools and services to eligible organisations as part of the Active Cyber Defence programme. This might help protect your charity from a cyber attack. There is limited availability.
Resource Hub: Create a successful website
Access has created a resource hub to help non-profits with creating a successful website. The hub contains individual guides, articles, and webinars on topics including accessibility and rebranding.

This report from The Smith Institute, funded by Trust for London, examines the short and long-term implications of COVID-19 on poverty and inequality in outer London, with a particular focus on employment, low pay, housing and the shift towards home-working.
