Government Intelligence and Resources
- Official guidance for schools;

- Standards for school food in England, where further information about what to provide and planning can be found;
- The Department of Education publishes data on the provision of FSM across the United Kingdom which can be viewed online;
- The Department of Education are also on twitter, where they will be publishing content about FSM including guidance for healthy eating using food vouchers;
- The Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government’s (MHCLG) have announced the Local Support System scheme, alongside the implementation of a ‘shielding’ policy to protect 1.5 million medically vulnerable individuals.

Cooking on a bootstrap
“Cooking on a bootstrap” by Jack Monroe. A former foodbank user and single mum, Jack Monroe is an activist, award winning author and celebrity chef. Jack specialises in creating cheap and nutritious recipes with non-perishable goods. The website is free for all to use and features a large collection of recipes suitable for children including vegetarian and vegan dishes. During the lockdown, Jack has also been active on twitter and is taking live as many recipe queries as they can. You can tweet them using the hashtag #JackMonroesLockdownLarder.
